A new Batman v Superman trailer has finally been released.
The trailer focuses mainly on the various first-meetings of Clark Kent & Bruce Wayne: when Wayne sees Kent fighting the evil Zod at the end of Man of Steel, when Kent meets Wayne at some sort of function being thrown by Lex Luthor, when the two meet in full superhero garb, and when they start battling it out.
The trailer will come as a bit of a disappointment to many hardcore fans, as rumours of each superhero getting their own trailer have been swirling around the internet for months now. But very little footage of the film has been released overall, so the new 3-minute trailer will ultimately be a welcome surprise.
The new Batman v Superman trailer gives us a far more in-depth look at the characters and the world they live in. Without giving too much away, it gives a more detailed idea of what the film would be like. However, the overall storyline remains shrouded in mystery. The gist of it is essentially “Supes too strong and broke Batman’s building so Batman gon fuck him up while other bad guys fight them both”. The official synopsis is as follows:
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
