France boasts some of the best fashion in the world and their market scene is like no other. The Marché aux puces de Montreuil is an iconic flea market in Paris and is a must visit for unique fashion finds. The atmosphere here is amazing and always bustling with people. There are loads of food stands to keep your energy up while searching through the mass amount of clothes, shoes, and accessories on offer. Although you will most likely have to forage for your fashion, with a little bit of devotion you will come away with some really nice pieces on a student friendly budget. 2. Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is a city bustling with style and fab fashion finds. The Palo Alto market in Barcelona is super high end and exclusive. This market offers vintage designer exclusives from around the world. It offers a fabulous energy, with the setting being surrounded by gardens and food stands. Tickets go on sale the Monday before the market’s scheduled dates. With tickets only at 5.5 €, this is a must-go. The next upcoming dates are September 7th and 8th.
3. Copenhagen, Denmark
The market Byens Lopper located in Denmark is a one of the most friendly, fun fashion markets to visit this summer. The market is centered around small businesses and community, offering some super rare vintage finds. The clothing offered at this market is often made by local artists, some of whom even demonstrate their techniques at their booths. For those of you trying to get into making your own pieces, this market is a must see for some stylish inspiration! Check out this market on July 14th and 28th, August 11th and 25th, and September 29th 2024!
