One US teenager has to be considered as one of the best hide and seek players ever after he ran away from home and lived in an elevator shaft for 2 months.
A 15-year-old went missing in New York and the only reason that he was found, was because residents at the flats where he was hiding smelled him cooking hot dogs.
The boy was living in a homely 5-foot pit at the bottom of a lift shaft in a 8-floor block of flats and according to police his secret home was furnished with lights, a bed, a propane stove, a heater, a fire extinguisher and a radio – sounds better than some of the hovels I’ve paid rent to live in.
The young man had also rewired the lift electrics so that he could power all his electrical items – genius.
