Swifties listen up! Taylor Swift announced the release of her new album, a rerelease of her 1989 album.
After much speculation on part of the fans, Swift announced at her last Eras show in Los Angeles that she will be releasing the album, including songs like ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Shake It Off’.
On her Instagram, she wrote: “Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you soon! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways. To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”
This is the fourth album the pop star has re-recorded, which became a staple for the singer after a dispute over the ownership of the original copies of the songs when they were first recorded. Taylor Swift has added 6 tracks from ‘the vault’ in her previous albums, but this one will only feature five.
We can’t wait to hear it on the release date, October 27th, and fans can pre-order the album now!
