Robert Downey was being interviewed by Channel 4’s Krishnan Guru-Murthy, that’s the bloke who had his butt shut down by Quentin Tarantino, for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and things were a little…tense.
R.D.Jr seemed curiously wooden and serious compared to his usual genial self (he may have been given a warning from Quentin), before Krishnan decided to use his subtle journalistic touch to switch the conversation from heroes to heroine. At least they do sound alike.
It’s when the discussion starting veering towards Robert Downey Senior when things got so heated that iron could have melted, and Downey’s patience did exactly that…
At this rate, Channel 4 won’t get any interviews from A-list stars and will have to rely on home-made trite TV show ideas for viewership like…I don’t know, Benefit Street? Oh shit, wait…
