We are proud to partner with Coimisiún na Meán at this year’s National Student Media Awards, as they will be returning to sponsor the Radio Production of the Year – Arts & Features .
In addition to undertaking the functions of the BAI as the regulator for broadcasting in Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán is to establish a regulatory framework for online safety, update the regulation of television broadcasting and audiovisual on-demand services, and transpose the revised Audiovisual Media Services Directive into Irish law.
Submission Guidelines:
Awarded to the best radio production covering the arts, culture and entertainment. This can include magazine shows, comedy programmes, drama, non-news documentaries, arts coverage, interviews and all other arts, culture and entertainment shows. Must be produced expressly for broadcast on student radio.
Submit one episode, or montage of episodes (maximum 1 hour), broadcast since February 2023.
Submissions open 26th February 2024 and close 7th March 2024.
