The National Student Media Awards have announced a new category at this year’s ceremony, ‘Collaborative Journalism of the Year’.
The National Student Media Awards is an annual ceremony that celebrates the different types of media produced by students in Irish universities. It is often referred to as the ‘Oscars for Students’. The ‘Collaborative Journalism of the Year’ award is one of the many categories that they celebrate. Other categories include journalism, radio, TV, web design, animation and Irish.
This will be award to best article written by multiple student journalists. Articles can be published in student or national platforms. If it has been published national media submissions must not have had professional help on the article. The article can be on news, current affair, sport, arts, and entertainment.
Submissions will be judged based on clarity, relevance and ability to inform.
