As we begin this college year, it is important to develop habits for your daily routine to use your time efficiently and effectively, especially when it comes to navigating college assignments.

James Clear was born in 1986 in Ohio, USA. He is a well-known author, speaker, and writer. While studying at Denison University as a biomechanics student, he was the basketball captain and took part in the St. Gallen Symposium which resulted in him winning the Global Essay Competition.

In 2012, he started writing his number one New York Times bestseller, Atomic Habits. He published this book six years later. The book explains how to build important habits that will benefit your life. This self-help book became a favourite to readers worldwide as more than two hundred copies were sold gloablly, and translated into roughly sixty languages.

Due to this great success, in 2024 Clear invented an app called “Atoms” to help the general public to build new patterns and to become more productive in the twenty-first century.

He also established an online presence, JamesClear.com, in 2012, which gives out advice on how to improve your life and decision-making. On his website, there is an option to sign up for the weekly 3-2-1 newsletter, which has over three hundred million subscribers.

It is important to note that there are a lot of other self-help books available online and in various libraries, which can help to deal with the stress of college that everyone goes through.
