Piercing headache and a very uneasy stomach, we’ve all suffered this after one too many drinks. Here are tips to help you quickly get rid of that hangover.
1. Have A Big Breakfast
There is nothing like a big feed to help get your sugar levels up. I would recommend this if your stomach isn’t too upset. Accompany it with fruit juice, as it is full of vitamins and sugar to help you feel more human. If you have work, drink up that coffee to get that buzz to help you get through the day.
2. Sleep
If you have nothing on during the day, just stay in bed wrapped in your blanket like a burrito. This will help if you have the mother of all hangovers and can’t even stand on your own two feet. Make sure you’ve a bin beside your bed just in case you don’t make it to the bathroom in time.
3. Ginger
Ginger is a natural remedy for nausea and vomiting. It gives very fast relief by helping the digestion of alcohol and calming the stomach. Try putting it in hot water and drinking it for an easy way of digesting it into you. Ginger also has a string of health benefits so it’s not just good for curing a hangover.
4. Water
You body is seriously dehydrated when you drink alcohol. You need to hydrate yourself ASAP after drinking, preferably as soon as you get home that night. Keep a glass of water beside your bed to save you getting up in the middle of the night. By doing this, you will minimise the severity of your hangover.
5. The Best Cure For A Hangover
If you just can’t deal with a hangover the next day – just don’t drink. It is the only 100% effective way of having no hangover at all. This is probably best if you have an important exam the next day or a presentation to do. Your body will thank you!
