Despite being off the air for a decade now, Friends still remains one of the most popular shows on television with repeats shown pretty much all day long on several stations.
Ross, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Monica and Phoebe have been there for us for 2 decades, having first aired on September 22nd 1994 and are still some of the highest paid actors on television, earning millions in repeats alone every year. Even James Michael Tyler who played Central Perk Manager Gunther receives 24 million a year fro re-runs of the episodes (thanks to my Tour Guide at Warner Bros Studios in LA for that little tidbit). They’re literally earning money for doing nothing.
