Finally, autumn has come, the leaves are falling and the weather is definitely getting colder.
Autumn means that Halloween season is coming and everyone is getting ready to dress up as their favorite characters on the special day.
This also means that it’s the season of warm blankets and hot chocolate, and you watching a movie in the comfort of your bedroom.
Prepare your warm tea, because today I will give you a list of some films to watch during spooky season.
- Hocus Pocus: this is a classic movie to watch in the period of Halloween, it is the perfect mixture of spooky and funny, and it’s perfect to watch with your family. It’s set in Salem and it talks about two young kids summoning three witches in order to fit in.
- The Nightmare Before Christmas: a great movie with amazing animations. It is special because it blends the joy of Christmas with the spirit of Halloween. It’s a very family friendly movie to watch and have a laugh at!
- Practical Magic: this is a really good film if you like romance and supernatural movies. This is the story of two sisters who are descending from a family of witches and have superpowers. However, they are very unlucky in love, and they are trying to get a solution to this curse.
- The Twilight Saga: This is personally a classic for me, because I watch it every single year when it’s autumn. It gives a sense of darkness, but at the same time it’s a really cozy saga to watch with your friends or by yourself.
- The Craft: this movie follows the story of a high school group, who decided to form a coven, and start practicing witchcraft to overcome their problems and fears. This is a great movie for people who are interested in witchcraft. Specifically this movie explores the themes of friendship, family and supernatural.
