We are delighted to announce that Screen Ireland has returned to sponsor both the Film Script of the Year Award and the Short Film of the Year Award.
Screen Ireland fosters the talent of Irish filmmakers around the world by funding and producing award-winning titles. They support writers, directors and production companies by providing investment loans for the development, production and distribution of film, television and animation projects. They also fund a range of short film schemes to develop talent.
We are thrilled to be working with Screen Ireland and to have them as a sponsor this year: their support is invaluable in providing student filmmakers with a fantastic opportunity to have their work recognised by industry professionals.
Submission Guidelines:
Awarded to the most original, well-written, imaginative script showing the most insight into the cinematic form.
Scripts may be filmed or unfilmed at the time of submission and may be for a short or feature-length film. The script should be formatted as a film script.
Please attach a link to the film script via the online form. We would prefer you to include a link to your script but if you are unable, please upload a pdf of your script.
Submissions open 26th February 2024 and close 7th March 2024.
