The Nightmare Realm is back in Dublin for its third year of terrifying the huge audience it attracts. The atmosphere of The Nightmare Realm is its strongest asset with anyone who ventures into the Realm falling prey to the scares sooner rather than later. No matter who you are, whether you are a fraidy-cat, a scream queen or trying to play it cool, you will not make it through without getting severely spooked. The care and thought behind the various sets creates the great experience with multiple styles of scares spread across the three houses, ranging from jump-scares that spike the adrenaline to grotesque and blood churning to even the sick and extreme. Elements from American Horror Story, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, Hellraiser, your favourite Zombie movies and a lot more are all in the mix, on display and up-close and personal throughout.
The live creatures are all absolutely committed to their roles with the actors in shocking and gruesome make-up, costumes and masks. Special credit is due to whoever plays the Zombie-Clown in one of the best sets. The actor playing this creature must be nearly deaf with the amount of screaming he caused during the night Oxygen.ie was down in The Realm.
Guaranteed to set your pulse racing, The Nightmare Realm is a fun and thrilling adventure to kick-start Halloween week and will be in the RDS until the 3rd of November. The master of horror Vincent Price encapsulates this great Halloween event experience with everyone’s favorite famous lines from Thriller,
