At Light House Cinema, we are all massive fans of the great David Bowie and were deeply saddened to hear the news of his passing after a battle with cancer.
To celebrate the life of the wonderful artist and musician we are screening Jim Henson’s classic fairy-tale LABYRINTH, which stars David Bowie in his most iconic screen role.
Labyrinth not only showcases Bowie’s tremendous screen presence but also features a fine 80’s soundtrack with songs composed by the man himself.
All proceeds from these events will go to the Irish Cancer Society so come down, help us raise some funds and raise a glass to The Thin White Duke while we cheer and laugh and sing along to this legendary rock musical fantasy!
The film will screen at 11.30pm on Friday the 15th January and we’ve included a family-friendly screening on Sunday afternoon at 12.30pm.
Tickets are available here: http://lighthouse.admit-one.eu/index.php?s=LHSMITHF&p=details&eventCode=19223

The Irish Cancer Society is Ireland’s national cancer charity. The Irish Cancer Society aims to achieve a world-class cancer service ensuring that fewer people get cancer and those that do have better outcomes. The Society does this through advocacy, research and cancer services. The Society also provides information, support and care to those with, and affected by, cancer all over Ireland. Our services are professional, confidential and free of charge. We are almost entirely funded through the generosity of the public and receive less than 5% government funding.
