During this time of the year, there are many festivals to attend. If you are a bookworm or just need some help to get into the festival mood, these books should be on your book wishlist; Daisy Jones & The Six, Your Song Changed My Life and The Festival Book.

Daisy Jones and The Six was written by Taylor Jenkins Reid and was published on the 5th of March 2019. This book is a historical fiction based on the 1970s band, who reunite to share their own personal experiences which includes the events that occurred before their big break up. This book helps to give an insight as to what goes on behind the scenes when it comes to watching your band perform live.

Your Song Changed My Life was published on the 12th of April 2016 by Bob Boilen. This book covers 35 well-known artists such as Hozier and St. Vincent, and their journey on how they became famous and what inspires them. This book will get you into the festival mood as it gives you an insight of various artists lives and what has lead to them performing right in front of your very own eyes.

Michael Odell wrote The Festival Book which was published in April 2017. Odell, in aiming to get the reader ready for various festivals, he shares his personal experience which he used to explain his tips and tricks such as when it comes to what to pack, wear and most importantly what festival suits you, the reader, the best.

It goes without saying that there are many other books that can also get you into the festival mood such as your favorite books for the summer or books you may have seen on social media or your local bookshop.
