Everything Everywhere All At Once

Everything Everywhere All At Once review: charming, sprawling, and completely ridiculous - The Verge

Evelyn, a Chinese immigrant, discovers that she alone can save the world by accessing other versions of herself that exist across the multiverse. Think Marvel but make it A24.

Starring Michelle Yeoh as Evelyn and with a supporting cast including Jamie Lee Curtis and Jenny Slate, this is definitely not one to be missed. The film has been released in the states and is set to come out in Ireland later in the year.

After Yang

Colin Farrell Shines In New Trailer For Sci-Fi Flick 'After Yang'

In a sci fi exploration of what it means to be human, a family grapple with love and loss when their AI assistant Yang breaks. Starring Colin Farrell and Jodie Turner-Smith. Ishiguro fans take note: the premise seems similar to the author’s latest novel Klara and the Sun and will be high up on my list of ones to watch this year.

Marcel the Shell With Shoes On

Marcel the Shell With Shoes On' Review: An Unlikely Star Is Born - Variety

I am ridiculously excited about this film, having been a fan of Jenny Slate’s for a long time. The actor/comedian/author voices Marcel the Shell, a tiny shell (with shoes on) searching for his family. The film is based on a short animation released in 2010 (you can check it out on YouTube here) and looks to be an hilarious and touching mockumentary about finding your place in the world.

Men

Men (2022) - IMDb

Another in a series of iconic A24 horrors, Jessie Buckley plays a young woman on holiday in rural England following the tragic death of her husband. She soon realises she is being stalked by something mysterious. Greg Kinnear plays multiple roles in what looks to be a chilling psychological horror.
