2024 saw many celebrity couples take centre stage but three certainly stood out to us.
Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge
The rockstar and actor duo started dating in late 2023, but their relationship offically took centre stage when Partridge was seen attending the opening night of Guts Wold Tour in February this year. In the following month Partridge discussed their relationship being in the public eye during an interview with British Vogue. The couple have seemingly remained together with the pair being spotted together at several events throughout the year, interacting with each other on social media, and Partridge continuing to support Rodrigo’s ongoing tour.
And of course, one of the couple’s most inconic moments happened in Dublin when Rodrigo sang So American live for the first time during her gig at the 3 Arena. The song is believed to have been inspired by the pair’s relationship.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce
The popstar and American footballer sparked dating rumours in 2023 and were spotted together towards the end of the year. Their relationship was made 100% official during Swift’s show in Buenos Aires when Swift made a lyric swap in her song Karma, and ended her show by sharing a passionate kiss with Kelce who was in the crowd.
The pair have not shied away from the public eye in 2024. They have been very publicly continuing to support each other’s careers. In February of this year Swift was spotted cheering on her beau at the Super Bowl. In June, Kelce returned the favour with a hands on appraoch by performing a brief cameo during the Eras show at Wembley Stadium. London must hold signifcance for the pair as Swift made the Instagram hard launch with a selfie of them with members of the royal family.
The pair remain together and are seemingly smitten giving us the ultimate So Highschool vibes.
Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan
The popstar and actor were rumoured to be dating from late 2023 but made their red carpet debut in March 2024 at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty. They also attended the Met Gala togther in May. In June, Keoghan appeared in the music video for Carpenter’s ‘Please Please Please’. for The couple have not outright confirmed their relationship themselves. Keoghan was asked about their romance in November but swayed from giving any definite answers. He did however express gratitude for having the popstar in his life.
Since then things have taken a negative turn as the pair have decided to put the breaks on their romance. Rumours that Keoghan cheated have circulated rapidly causing both the actor, and his family to recieve excessive abuse. The reasoning for the breakup has not been confirmed.
